Dhee 4 : Ladies Special Started
Dhee 4, Ladies special started. Its good to see Brinda madam back as judge. Other judge for the show is Rambha. We don’t know how the judgment of Rambha will be. May be we can expect some glamor from her. Another special thing about the show is that all the dance masters are ladies only. Hope they will concentrate more on dance and less on drama, fighting etc. There are some new faces in the dance masters. Hope to see some good performances from the contestants.
Lastly, we are planning to watch the show because Rekha is not there.

Chennai Super Kings in IPL Final
Chennai Super Kings entered into the IPL final thanks to Doug Bollinger and the bowling party. It was a disciplined bowling performance by the bowling the Chennai Super Kings bowlers.

Whose mistake is this?
Just now, in my company, all the lights were switched off for one hour for “Save Earth”. The emergency lights will be on.
Now wonder why they can’t do this every day? When people can work with less lighting, why to have more lights and consume electricity?
Just compare the scenario. In the interior parts of India and the the villages, there is power-cut for 6 to 10 hours and in the cities people are using (in deed wasting) electricity for commercial purpose.
I still remember those days when I was working for a Cyprus company from my home, there was no power in the day time. So I used to sleep in the day time and work in the night. I was ok with that, the thing which was paining to me was, Hyderabad conducted Afro-Asian games by spending 50M Rupees and worst thing was, the games were held in the night. Which means more power-cuts for the villages.
Its the social responsibility to reduce the power and oil consumption.
Korean Film Festival in Hyderabad
Korean film festival will be held from 26th Apr to 28th Apr. This is organized jointly by the Hyderabd film club, Mumbai Korean Consulate and Korean Residence Association.
Mumbai Indians Enters IPL Final
Mumbai Indians entered into IPL 3 finals by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 35 runs on Wednesday, 21-Apr-2010 .
Mumbai suffered early blow by losing the in-from Mumbai Indians skipper at 9. This the first single digit scolre for the master blaster in IPL 3. Sourbh Tiwary 52(not out) of 31 deliveries (3*4, 4*6) and Ambati Rayudu 40 of 38 deliveries (4*4, 0 *6) put 67 runs for the 5th wicket and consolidated the MI innings. Till 15th over, it looked like MI can score around 150-160. MI scoring run rate changed from Kumble’s over and then there is not looking back for MI. At the end, Kieron Pollard stuck 33 (not out) off just 13 deliveries with one four and 3 sixes helped MI to reach the score of 184 for 5.
In reply, RCB started a moderate start by scoring 24 in 2.4 overs. But they lost the wickets in regular intervals and after 12th over they were out of the game by losing 5 wickets for 97 runs. Ross Taylor was the hope for RCB but the pressure worked with the over running out and the required run rate climbing up. At the RCB manged to score 149 in 20 overs.
Pollard awarded the man of the match for hit 33 runs and 3 wickets.
Now Mumbai Indians will play the final with the winner of Deccan Chargers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings.
Dhee 4 (Ladies Special) Starts on 28th Apr
At last they announced that Dhee 4 will start from 28th Apr. They have already announced that Sherya will be the ambassador for Dhee 4. Lets hope to see some good performances and new talent in this series.

Nityananda Swami Arrested in Himachal
Swamy Nityananda was arrested on Wednesday 21 st Apr in Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
He was absconding for over a month in the wake of the sex scandal exposed by a Tamil TV Channel.
Nityananda was arrested along with his four associates.

Virender Sehwag out of World Cup 20-20
Indian dashing opener Virendar Sehwag is ruled out of the World Cur 20-20 which is beginning from Apr 30 in West Indies. Sehwag was advised 3 to 4 weeks rest and Tamilnadu batsman Murali vijay is the replacement for Sehwag.
So, India suffered the blow because of IPL. If the IPL was not there, then Sehwag may be suffer the injury.

Presentation Variables as Formual Vairables
We can use the same concept of hidden columns as complex formul for columns
Some times, in a report, we may create a big formula like
((column a + column b )/column c * 100 ) column d
Assume that the same formula is referenced in another column as
((column a + column b )/column c * 100 ) column d + column E
in such case, the formula from the first column can be copied and used again the the second column.
If the same formula is referenced in many columns then also the it can be copied and pasted in all the required places.
Now the problem is what if, the formula in the first column is changed? The report needs to be opened and all the columns should be changed. If the formula is reused in many reports then also we need to do the same thing.
This process can be avoided by using presentation variable and hidden prompts.
Let’s create a report in Paint subject area.
Columns are
Year
Units
Price per unit
Dollars
Derived columns
Column 1: (Price pre unit * units * 100 ) /100 —Some dummy formula
Column 2: (Price pre unit * units * 100 ) / 100 * Units — Another dummy formula
The report will look like this
Now, lets replace the first formula with a presenation variable called “@{pres_dollars_col_1}”
and the second column as
Save the report.
If the report is executed then the output will be
Now lets create a prompt
1. Change the formula to “1” (any unique no which is not used as a column name in any prompt or report)
2. Change the control type to “Edit Box”
3. Defaluts to : Specific Value and the value will be the fromual that we want to reuse.
4. Set Variable : Name of the presentation variable which was used in the report.
Save the prompt.
Place the report and the prompt in a dashboard page
We got the desired output.
Now in the dashboard, we can hide prompt as follows:
Place the prompt in a new section.
Section Properties -> Format Section -> Check the “Use Custom CSS Style” check box and in the text box add the code “Display:None”
Click on ok and return to the Dashboard page
