Spain : The Winner of FIFA World Cup 2010

Spain Won the FIFA world cup 2010 by beating Netherlands 1-0 in the extra time. Both teams were 0-0 at end of the stipulated time. In the extra time, just before the end of the match Andres INIESTA managed to score a goal for his country which made them as the world cup winners. Spain deserves to be the winners with their extraordinary game. This is Spain’s world cup final and it emerged as the clear winner. This is also the double for Spain after the Euro cup win in 2008. |

Octopus Paul’s Predictions. Are Sentiments Really Work?
When the Octopus Paul predicted that Germany will with the Quarter Final against Argentina, all the Germans were happy. The same Octopus when predicted that, Germany will lose the Semi Finals to Spain the Germans thought that, this sentiment may not work as they strongly believed that Germany will enter into the Finals, which did’t happened.
Are the sentiments really works 100% every time? Because, the same Octopus predicted 6 times for Germany and all the predictions were correct.

Who Will Win FIFA World Cup 2010?
Its really a shocker when we came to know that Brazil lost to the Duch team. We thought atleast Argentina will make it to semis. But the goal by the Germans in the first five mins was shocker again. But still we though that Argentina can level the scores. But again a surprising results.

Now Uruguay is the only Latin American country in the semis rest three viz: Netherlands, Germany and Spain are the European countries. Going by the history of the World cup, European countries won the world cup if the hosting country is also an European country. Now the host is South Africa which is a non-European country. So can the Europeans break the jinx of their winning streak.

Gonzalo Higuain of Argentina scored the first hat-trick (in 33, 76 and 80 mis) in FIFA world cup 2010 to crush South Korea. Argentina which was not considered as favorites to win 2010 world cup by many is flying high now. After their excellent performance in their world cup opener against Nigeria, its time for Shouth Korea to get the blast. Hat-trick by Higuain is the 49th in FIFA world cup. Bert Patenaude of America scored the first hat-trick in 1930 world cup. |
