Indians are poor, but India is not a poor country

Posted in Misc tagged , , at 3:27 pm by itsourteamwork

“Indians are poor, but India is not a poor country”. Says one of the Swiss bank directors.
He says that “280 lac crore” of Indian money is deposited in Swiss banks which can be used for ‘taxless’ budget for 30 yrs.
  • Can give 60 crore jobs to all Indians.
  • From any village to Delhi, 4 lane roads.
  • Forever free power supply to more than 500 social projects.
  • Every citizen can get monthly 2000/- for 60 yrs.
  • No need of World Bank & IMF loan.
Think how our money is blocked by rich politicians.
We have full right against corrupt politicians.
Let us take this seriously and be a responsible citizen.
Jai Hind!

A man feared his wife wasn’t hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid.

Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem.

The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

Here’s what you do,” said the Doctor, “stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response.”

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, “I’m about 40 feet away, let’s see what happens.” Then in a normal tone he asks, ‘Honey, what’s for dinner?”

No response.

So the husband moves to closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, “Honey, what’s for dinner?”

Still no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, Honey, what’s for dinner?”

Again he gets no response.

So he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. “Honey, what’s for dinner?”

Again there is no response.

So he walks right up behind her. “Honey, what’s for dinner?”

“Darling, for the FIFTH time I’ve said, CHICKEN!”

The problem may not be with the other person as we always think, could be very much within us!

My Experience As An Interviewer

Posted in Computers, Hardware, Information Technology, IT, Software tagged , , , , at 1:19 am by itsourteamwork

Taking interviews is not new to me.  I have started taking interviews 12 years back.  From then, may not be regularly, but once in a while I used to take interviews.

But, in my current role, taking interviews became a part of my role as I have to select my own team. I have taken more than 30 interviews in the recent past. I have selected only one whereas I have to select two.

Now the problem is, when I ask for something, the candidate say “I know this theoretically, but in my current job, I have not got any opportunity to work on it”

I asked them whether they have created any example to see how the command works. The answer is ‘NO’.

My question is, are they thinking that, they will learn theoretically and implement practically in the job?  How they are expecting their current job to give them opportunity to work on all the commands that are available in a software. There will be hundreds of commands in a software and a currently their job may require only the usage of 10% of  the commands.  That does not mean that, they should blame the current job for not using the remaining 90% of the commands.

Again, I am not saying that, they should know the 100% of the commands. Depending on the software, we should know at least 30% to 40% of the commands.

When learn something,  an example should be created to see how it works. This helps in quicker development in the job when the commands needs to be used.

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 : What The Judges Are Discussing

Posted in Bollywood, Films, TV Shows tagged , , , , , , , , at 1:03 am by itsourteamwork

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 is started in Sony.

Renuka Sahani’s performance was good but we do not think that her performance was that great to get 8 marks from the judges. We think some of the other contestants also danced well but they were given 6 or 7 marks.

Other thing is, why the judges are discussing among themselves before giving the marks. We think, they should give the marks by their own, they should not discuss like, I will give x, and you give y .

Give me your e-mail

A jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Some Company.

The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

“You are employed.”

He said.” Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.”

The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email.”

I’m sorry”, said the HR manager, “If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”

The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.

He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the Operation three times, and returned home with $60.

The man realized that he can survive by this Way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later , the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US.

He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied, “I don’t have an email”.

The broker answered curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?!!”

The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Some Company!”

Can the cost of the movie making can be reduced?

Posted in Films tagged , at 12:56 pm by itsourteamwork

Since few years, we are getting the news of high budget movies, where the crew is talking about the money spent of the movies.

Is it necessary for the budget of the movie to be increased like that?

We are not saying that all the movies should reduce the cost. But most of them can be reduced.

Lets take some ex, for the movie Arjun starring Mahesh, the director had the Meenakshi temple set costing 4 corers. Can’t the same movie be made with some other back drop by reducing the cost? What is the use of spending that much money for a set?

I have not seen Orange movie yet. But, can’t movie made by sending the Hero to some place in India rather than sending him to Australia?

There is a famous director in Telugu who gave big hits. He wants to go to Thailand for most of his movies, at least for songs. I do not remember even one movie in which, he has not gone abroad? What is the thing which he likes in Thailand?

Are the movie maker blind? Don’t they see any good location in India?

Similarly, few of the movie is some movies being shot in foreign countries, with foreign back drop. Can the same movie be made in India with Indian back drop?

Can’t they decrease the cost of the songs sets that they are setting up?

Many people (specially from IT industry) are bringing  dollars to India and these movie makers are spending the dollars in foreign countries…

Think again…
